ImageFX 2025 Updates: New Models, Features & Pricing Changes

We've been busy. 2025 started with some major updates to ImageFX that I'm genuinely excited about. Not the usual "we fixed some bugs" changelog—these are changes that actually matter.

January 2025: The Big Ones

New Model: Flux 1.1 Pro Ultra

Released: January 8, 2025

This wasn't planned for Q1, but when we got early access to Flux 1.1 Pro Ultra, we couldn't wait. The quality jump is ridiculous.

What changed:

• 4K native resolution (finally)
• 40% faster generation than Flux 1.1 Pro
• Better text rendering (actually readable now)
• Same 2-credit cost as regular Flux

Real talk: I tested it with 50 generations before launch. The text-in-image capability alone is worth it. No more gibberish in posters.

Video Generation Speed Boost

Released: January 15, 2025

Veo 3.1 generation time dropped from 45 seconds to 28 seconds average. We optimized the queue system and upgraded our infrastructure.

Impact:

• 37% faster video generation
• Better handling during peak hours
• No quality loss

Why it matters: When you're generating 10+ videos for a project, those 17 seconds per video add up. That's 3 minutes saved per 10 videos.

Pricing Adjustment (The Good Kind)

December 2024: Foundation Updates

Image-to-Video with Veo 3.1

Released: December 18, 2024

Turn any image into a 5-second video. Upload a product photo, get a rotating 3D view. Upload a landscape, get cinematic camera movement.

Use cases we've seen:

• Product demos (huge for e-commerce)
• Social media content
• Presentation animations
• Creative transitions

Cost: 65 credits per video (same as text-to-video)

Batch Generation

Released: December 10, 2024

Generate up to 4 images at once. Same prompt, different variations.

Before: Generate one image, wait, evaluate, generate another, wait... After: Generate 4 at once, pick the best one.

Time saved: About 60% on average when testing prompts.

History & Gallery

Released: December 5, 2024

All your generations are saved automatically. Search by prompt, filter by type (image/video), delete what you don't need.

November 2024: The Launch Month

Fun fact: 73% of our Pro subscribers use this as their default model.

Credit System

Released: November 15, 2024

Instead of "X images per month," you get credits. Use them however you want.

Why credits:

• Different models cost different amounts
• More flexibility
• No "use it or lose it" pressure
• Clearer pricing

• Basic: 300 credits/month ($11.99)
• Pro: 1,500 credits/month ($27.99)
